The “Valley of the Sun” is my adopted hometown. My family moved from Madison, Wisconsin to Phoenix in 1961. My stepfather, a columnist with the Wisconsin State Journal, bought the “Sunnyslope Journal” and “Payson Round-up” newspapers. We lived in central Phoenix, Payson and Scottsdale until 1966, when we relocated to a small town in California’s “Gold country.”

I joined the U.S. Merchant Marines at age 19 and sailed extensively throughout the
Pacific and Southeast Asia. When I returned, I worked myself through college and received a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism.

For the next 15 years, I was a professional writer and photographer in California’s “Silicon Valley.” My clients included Apple Computer, Olivetti, Garmin, Magellan, Hewlett-Packard, and many others.

I married in 1984, had 2 children and began investing in real estate. In 1992 my family was looking for a better lifestyle. We returned to Scottsdale, built a new home and started a career in real estate.

Since then:
      - I was an active Realtor with John Hall & associates for many years, and later joined
Realty Executives -- my current broker.
- incorporated “Lewin King P.C.” in 2003.

- achieved the 100% club 6 years running at Realty Executives. That means I am a highly productive agent in the most productive brokerage in Arizona.

- earned the ePRO designation – certifying knowledge and use of current technology.

- formed www.DesertKingProperties in 2008.

- enjoy a flawless record of no client disputes, or complaints filed. Check out my unsolicited testimonials page!

You have a choice of Realtors—my goal is to make you happy you chose me!
